IDEA’s R&D Center, located at Xiamen Overseas Student High-tech Business Incubator, Xiamen High and New Technology Entrepreneurship Center in Xiamen Torch High-tech Zone, is a science-technology enterprise incubator specially supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology and directly subordinate to Torch High-tech Zone Management Commitment.

The Center has a staff of 50 people, who forms a top-ranking and young team aged 32 averagely engaged in professional research of nondestructive testing instruments and equipment in China, of which people with doctor’s degree and master’s degree account for about 15%, and people with bachelor’s degree account for 85%. The Center is devoted to the research of new technologies of electromagnetic testing (eddy current, magnetic flux leakage and magnetic memory), ultrasonic testing, industrial electronic endoscope and equipment and transformation of instruments into productivity, and has possessed several national patents of independent development. The Center persists on development of innovative nondestructive testing devices and applications, and enables users to effectively control industrial production and industrial safety, and achieves improvement of efficiency and reduction of testing cost. Our mission is to transform the innovative technologies into productivity by reliable nondestructive testing products and services.

IDEA R&D Center has formed a socialized research cooperation network with famous colleges and universities and scientific research institutions, and powerful R&D capability to ensure our dominant position in industrial nondestructive testing technology in China and the world.
